Play Ball: How to stay consistent with exercise goals

Above all, athletes who stay consistent and show progress are the most sort after players globally. For example Just like baseball players who regularly get on base or score a run every time at bat. Basketball players who are consistent in getting their 2-3 pointers in or always pick up the rebound shots. And also, Hockey players regularly get shots on goal.  You get the idea! Staying consistent will bring you closer to your exercise goals, and in my case, losing weight and improving my overall lifestyle kept me going.

The Stats 

This week’s stats has me consistently running at a:

  • Distance of 11 Miles:
  • Elevation: 373 ft
  • Time: 2:33:11 

Even though I took a few days off to enjoy the beautiful day at the beach. Cape May, NJ. I still kept up with my running for 30 mins following my Ifit program. Below is the workout that I completed this week. 

Hard Work Does Pay Off

Looking at the photo above, it’s the first time I can say that all the hard work and effort I have put in to lose the weight and stay consistent with keeping it off is finally
paying dividends.

  • My appetite is under control
  • I’ve been drinking plenty of fluids regularly 
  • Eating normal size portions

And basically the best part is that, in my opinion, I haven’t given up anything. I still eat whatever I want when I’m out with friends and family. But, of course, if I go overboard, I must burn off more calories the next day.

How to stay consistent with goals

Staying consistent with exercise goals can be challenging, but there are several strategies that can help you maintain your focus and achieve your objectives. For example, these include setting small and achievable goals, establishing a routine or schedule, staying motivated, tracking your progress, and having an accountability partner or support system. It’s also important to be flexible and adapt your approach as needed, and to celebrate your successes along the way. Ultimately, consistency requires commitment, dedication, and a positive mindset, but with the right mindset and strategies in place, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.

What is one of the secrets of achieving any goal?

You are staying Consistent and Writing down your goals!

Above all, I envision myself doing the work needed to achieve that goal. All I did was stay consistent and walk for 30 mins, and I did that until it turned into a habit. I read somewhere if you can do something for 30 days, it will turn into a routine, and that good habit will lead you to achieve your goals. Stay consistent!

Grand Hotel at a great location. This 3-star hotel has everything you need
to enjoy a stress-free vacation. Wi-Fi, Free Parking, Outdoor Pool, Air-conditioned
rooms and a Business Center if you must work. It also beaches a side service with
cabanas. The town is family friendly with plenty of touristic things to see and do or
not. If you want to detach yourself from it all, disappear in the sand, and
surf, its easy to do.
